Happenglad’s New Hat

Happenglad’s New Hat is a monthly, experimental new work show. What does that mean? That means we have comedy, sketch, music, occasional puppetry, improv and utter madness. All new, never-seen-before-anywhere performances! I’m still locking in performers for this one, but we will have IMPROV SUPERSTARS UNCALLED FOR playing with us, as well as Dan “Schlinksy” Bingham, Jessica Salomon, Cheryl Gladu, The Dukes (Ian Poe Kerr, Topper, Clem and Marcia), and Sarah Quinn. I host, and I always do something neat/ slightly uncomfortable/ hilarious.

D’abord les mauvaises nouvelles … bien, mes amours, nous avons eu quelques problèmes avec notre site Web. Notre maîtresse web travaille fébrilement à régler les problèmes et tout devrait être fixé dans la semaine.

Maintenant, les nouvelles fabuleux: Il est confirmé,  le vendredi 4 février et le samedi 5 février, 2011 votre drag kings préférés (The Dukes of Drag!)  monter un spectacle au Meow Mix ( à La Sala Rosa à Montréal). Mieux encore, l’infâme Jack E. Dickinson et l’hilarant DeAnne Smith seront les hôtes.

First the bad news… well, my loves, we have been having a few issues with our website. Our web mistress is working feverishly to fix the issues and everything should be fixed within the week.

Now the delightful good news: It is confirmed, on both Friday, February 4th and Saturday, February 5th, 2011 your favorite drag kings (the dukes!) will grace the stage of the Meow Mix (at La Sala Rosa in Montreal). Better still, the infamous Jack E. Dickinson and the hilarious DeAnne Smith will co-emcee.

So, please be patient with the website and be certain to reserve the evenings of  February 4th and 5th, 2011 to have the Dukes blow off your socks … and maybe your panties, too 😉

Advance tickets are available as of Feb 1st for the Friday February 19 performance of Nespi n’est ce pas? at the Casa del Popolo. The Casa is located across the street from La Sala Rossa at 4873 boul. St-Laurent.

The Dukes will perform their all new show in Montreal on February 19 AND at the Meow Mix on February 20, 2010. Both performances will take place at La Sala Rossa.
