About King blings
King blings are fans (usually female-identified but who’s counting?!?) of Drag Kings. The mischievous Nat King Pole coined this term as a play on the term “fag hag,” which refers to women who hang out with gay men. If fags can have their hags, kings can have their blings!!
King Blings are highly important in Drag King culture. They stroke our egos and make us feel manly. Who else would we pound our chests for?
